Increase minimum wage given to asylum seekers.

0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!

Asylum seekers have had to flee their homeland. Run away from persecution, or war, or danger. All they want is a safe place to live, while their country is being ripped apart. We, the UK, have a safe place for them.

They have to wait for a refugee status, and that can take years.

Without a refugee status, they cannot work.

So our government gives them a measly £5 a day.

That's over a fortnight without food, clothes or toiletries to buy a mobile phone.

Imagine having £35 a week for toiletries, clothes, tampons, pads, food.

How can this be acceptable? We need to raise this amount now. We ask you, from the bottom of our hearts, to sign this petition. It only takes a click.
