Have mental health taken seriously

As a sufferer of mental health problems, I have personally witnessed the effect of cuts to funding. I feel as though mental health isn't taken as seriously as it should be. The crisis team are rushing through assessments then not continuing with treatment. People who are suicidal are being told that if they wanted to kill themselves, they'd be dead by now. Staff are rude/dismissive when they discover that the patient suffers with mental health. This needs to change. Please help me to get the government to understand that we need help and we're not getting it. Thank you.
