GRENFELL TOWER: We demand an inquest, not a public inquiry
0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!
Theresa May has announced a public inquiry into the tragedy at Greenfell Tower. This will allow the government to control the process and influence the outcome. It will NOT allow residents, or the loved ones of victims the right to participate in any way.
An inquest would allow the participation of those affected by the tragedy and place the outcome in the hands of an impartial jury.
Mrs May has said that she wants to 'get to the bottom of this'. It is highly unlikely that those responsible will be brought to justice with a public enquiry.
