Extend Voting Rights to people aged 16 and 17
0 have signed. Let’s get to 100.
Many people who are aged sixteen do not have a say when it comes to politics and decisions in our country. Extending the voting rights to people aged sixteen and seventeen would allow them to express their views and opinions on political topics, such as the European Union referendum (which only those eighteen and above were able to vote for). Therefore, allowing people aged sixteen and seventeen to vote would not only allow them the freedom to vote, but it would also create opportunities for them to express political views, and allow them to engage in politics.
