Convictions for parents who use lies to stop the other parent seeing their children.

After been stopped from seeing my child for 4 months by the mother I was finally granted 3 hours every two weeks with my child by the courts whilst Caff Cass completed a section 7.

Due to the lies that the mother compiled against me after the 2 months which it took Caff Cass to complete their report my contact was increased to 6 hours every 2 weeks.

Eventually, 12 months from the time I was stopped from seeing my child we went back to court and I was allowed to have my child every other weekend where I pick him up from school and also have him one evening every other weekday for 3 hours.

This cost me thousands of pounds in solicitors fees and put a big strain on my life and also an organisation which I founded.

Since my child and I have been reunited our relationship is flourishing and the time we have is precious but the lies are starting again and I am fearful the dreaded day will come when I am stopped from seeing my child again for a lengthy period of time whilst I go through the court process again.

The last time we were in court I had documented proof that it was all lies why I was stopped from seeing my child but this was never taken into account which is a reoccurring scenario with many people who I have spoken to who have been in the same situation as myself.

IT IS TIME THIS CHANGES AND I BELIEVE LIKE MANY OTHERS, THAT, IF A PARENT LIES TO STOP THE CHILD FROM BEEN WITH THE OTHER PARENT AND THERE IS PROOF IT IS A LIE THEN PROSECUTIONS SHOULD BE BROUGHT AGAINST THE GUILTY PARTY.

Too many people are happy to lie about the other parent as they know they will not have any repercussions.

Please sign this petition so the law is changed as children's lives are been ruined.
