I’m signing because it is incomprehensible to an average person that a parent can have multiple companies around the world . Own many rental properties in the UK.
A multimillionaire that is able through this present system to pay £20 per week for two children leaving the mother in penury .
I’m also doing it for the “ low hanging fruit” the salaried parent on £25-30 k that is being unfairly penalised in this system .
It is financial abuse and fraud affecting every decent tax payer in this country.

It is unfair for the parent not to contribute fairly as it is the child who suffers at the dishonesty of the parent.

Both parents should contribute fairly to the upbringing of their children regardless of who is or isn’t the custodial parent.

I am currently going through this with my sons dad. He has refused to cooperate with the CMS, has claimed to not earn due to a new business set up and is allowed through the loop hole. Bank account checks and life style needs to be bought back in. I have been fighting since February and currently still waiting for a tribunal court date. This could be resolved much sooner and less costly for all involved including court hearings if CMS were given more power and authority to demand information and go directly to bank accounts for payment. Refusal to cooperate by avoidant parents is all too easy and frequent.

In my case the paying parent has gone self employment, they have been on a zero payment since March 2018 until there first tax return is due in Jan 2019. So until then no payments at all, Also this is. It back dated. Yet he has been working and earning the entire time. Too many loopholes. Close them, it’s the children who suffer.

I believe this loophole is unfair to resident parents and children are being pushed further into poverty.

It’s a loophole that must be closed x l cannot understand a father that does NOT support their children
