Refusing somebody with ability and capacity for a role or job opportunity purely because of tattoos or body art should be illegal on the basis of discrimination. The generational evolution of society leads to changes of mindset, beliefs and views, policies should have to update along with this to create equality within our environments. In this day and age body art is an expression of belief’s and emotions for many. People should not be punished on expression of their beliefs, For many people spiritual beliefs inspire tattoos and body art and are often a way of expressing their appreciation of life experiences and should be free to do so within reason of social respects. In the same respect that people shouldn't be discriminated against for their religion or culture, nor should they for beliefs and spirituality but the reality is that for most now body art and expression of tattoos have become part of many cultures and therefore policies should be in place to cater to this.
