I think this practice is intrusive and vulgar

Paid silly money for photos of my longed for, nearly didn’t get here son. Was out of surgery, on morphine and knackered! Arrived within hours and I couldn’t say no as the photos meant so much. Totally wrong to hit badger drugged up mums to buy expensive packs. Sure, I wasn’t forced to but I also felt pressured and out of it

When I was in hospital having just had twins I had someone from bounty try come in 3 times. First time the midwife had told them it wasn't a good time. 2nd time I told the midwife it wasn't a good time so she sent her away and the 3rd she came in I said it was too much and I didnt want pictures (I had, had people in and out since the minute they were born so didn't want bothering it was too much) but she stayed there for 15 minutes talking to me and said she was sad she couldn't photograph twins she was looking forward to it. She was a nice lady but when I said no she should have left me alone. I don't think this should be allowed.

I don't think new parents should be hounded at a vulnerable time. We said yes first time. Second time we said no and the horror on the staff face. She wanted an explanation why. Why should I have to justify my decision.

No thank you; Bounty constantly wanting to take photos of the baby when we are experiencing the special first bonding with our new child. Go away and leave us in our love bubble,

After a 3 day labour and eventual unplanned section, I was beyond exhausted. The bounty rep came in through my closed curtain without introducing herself and started asking for my address etc. I looked at her badge and it had just her name and ‘NHS’ on it so I assumed she was a health professional. Then she asked for consent for bounty to send me stuff and got really annoyed when I said no. They shouldn’t be allowed on wards but if this can’t be stopped then their identification should be unambiguous. I think it’s incredibly dangerous that these people are allowed to identify themselves as ‘NHS’. I’m still really angry about this.

They made me feel awful about my beautiful baby boy because he had a mark on his foreheads to forceps. Said they'd come back and take his picture when it had faded. Felt like crying and I made sure they didn't get back to take his photo.

I feel that women who have just given birth should be given privacy.
