I strongly believe that secondary school pupils in schools male or female should be able to wear smart shorts in the summer just as pupils are able to wear skirts .I think it’s outrageous that females have the choice of skirts in the summer and trousers in the winter yet males have to wear trousers all year round including extreme heat and is only going to get worse due to climate change .I strongly believe this should be looked in to as it’s outdated and no longer fit for purpose. I believe there would be no impact with education as long as they look smart and attend school everyday .Let’s get this changed and get as many signatures as possible . It’s a small ask for our children to feel comfortable whilst they are learning and are at school for 7 hours a day .We understand there has to be rules but this is a step too far in this day and age I find it quite sexist and I thought we were trying to change all these things we live in a diverse society .please please sign and feel free to share and comment .
