We want to widen awareness around the mental health of young people in war zones. We want the government to support and implement mental health initiatives to support children who are displaced and traumatised.
We would like to see funding for local people in war zones trained by UK professionals to help deal with mental health issues in children on the ground before they are forgotten and disappear forever.
We feel it is highly important that a professional awareness of mental health issues is nurtured at this time in those war zones, so that this professional help can grow as those countries restructure.
