Acknowledge the psychological injuries caused by terrorism

As a victim of the Manchester Arena terrorist bombing, along with my family, and many others, we find that we have become invisible in society as those suffering with PTSD, mental and psychological injuries are not recognised by the Police or the authorities. They are not issued with crime reference numbers, they struggle to access treatment, help and support and are left to deal with the after effects alone.
And this does not only apply to Manchester. There have been victims of both the Westminster Bridge and Borough market terrorist attacks too, that are struggling with psychological problems.
Those suffering with the mental health and psychological injuries should be recognised as victims in the same way as those physically injured and should be able to access the necessary help and support too.
