Why this petition matters

Started by Robin Sims

This petition is put in place to pass a law: JENNY’S LAW........Every person hospitalized,  will be allowed one or more ADVOCATES to be with them at all times while in the hospital, as long as they remain under hospital care. JENNY’S daughter FOUGHT and FOUGHT to get in to see her mom! Who are these people that they would deny this daughter to make sure her mom was being loved and getting human interaction. They would never allow this to happen to their sick loved one. We need to start naming names.  What is happening in our medical centers in the past couple years with protocols, treatments and care are highly concerning. We the people now have a different kind of anxiousness when we have to go to a medical facility,  whether it be a Doctors Office, Urgent Care or Hospital. I find myself worried about my level of care, Integrity, Morals and Trust in the system once I’m inside their doors.

JENNY was a beautiful  active woman in her church and community, she was loved by all.  She died while in hospital care. The protocol put in place along with medical staff, allowed her for two weeks.... NO VISITORS and NO THERAPEUTICS. Isolation from loved ones can not only be dangerous to a persons mental health but can also be detrimental to a persons physical recovery. No one stepped up and did what they swore under oath they would do to save lives. In this case.... JENNY’S LIFE. JENNY shared with us right before she died,  that when she would press the call button,  it would be an hour or more before the attending nurse would show up. It was due to the nurse having to put on what resembled a hazmat suit and the time it took to put it on.  We are seeking Justice for JENNY and every other loved one that tragically died under same circumstances. We must hold accountable each one involved. We will make sure this does not happen again.
