At high schools across the nation, students and teachers alike are working hard to successfully transition after coming back from two years at home. The pandemic continues to leave its traces on everyday life. One area, in particular, is mental health. The prevalence of anxiety and depression has increased by 25% since the pandemic started. Therapy dogs have been shown to reduce stress and could be helpful to both students and teachers at Waubonsie Valley High School.
