My very good friend Thelma Pilley has spent 15 years in prison for a crime she did not commit. Sentenced under joint enterprise that has been found to be unsafe. There’s so much corruption in this conviction and the public need to know what is happening to innocent people.

she has new evidence but has been refused an appeal as the new evidence is not sufficient apparently!

its 2022 in England and we have thousands of innocent people in our prisons convicted under joint enterprise. Many were not near the scene of the crime or in the wrong place at the wrong time. It’s costing the tax payers 35 - 40 thousand pound a year to keep each person in prison it would cost a fraction of that for a re trial.
