Like many of us at a young age  .

I was educated in the use of "phonetics (the science of sounds of human speech). 

The problem with the existing word Wednesday is that it breaks these very rules of English phonetics .

And quite frankly it is "all wrong" in regards to how we pronounce every other day of the week . So why give it a pass ? 

Let us fix this once and for all by changing the spelling of the fourth day of the week from Wednesday to simply Wendsday .
