Language channels have been disappearing for quite a long time now, only 3 are left: the Dutch French and Chinese channels. Lots of people who talk in the French and Dutch chat can't speak English or can only minimally speak English. However, since the long existence of these language chats, friendships have been made through them, and these people have found a great place to talk to eachother in their own language. Now that the Headmoderator has announced that the language channels will be removed on 15-12-2019, these people won't have the nice chat group to talk in. This way, people will leave the community because it's limited to English only. It's much fun having a channel you can talk in your own language, and talk about cultural similarities. Things like invading eachothers language channels might seem annoying to the mods, but for us it's funny. Please let the language channels keep existing, for more than just the reason that these people mostly don't feel comfortable speaking English, but that should already be reason enough. There are no bad sides about letting language channels stay.
