As past pupils of colour and the LGBTQIA+ community at The Wykeham Collegiate, we can all attest to the atrocious treatment that we have experienced and the treatment that the current students continue to experience. Although, there are measures in place in the code of conduct to stop such behaviour/ misconduct. Those means are not being utilised. 

We would like to bring an end to the discrimination experienced, by people of colour and those in the LGBTQIA+ community, in private institutions such as The Wykeham Collegiate. Hundreds of qualified professionals are overlooked while student bodies meet the bare minimum quotas, people of colour are equally capable and equipped to be in said institutions yet we are not accommodated. 

It is our goal to make people of colour and the LGBTQIA+ community feel represented, safe and valid in spaces which are historically and predominantly white. By signing this petition, you stand in solidarity with all people of colour and the LGBTQIA+ community in hopes of creating a safe and inclusive space for all!
