This petition originally started out as a joke while on a call on this app called Discord, but after more thinking it came to our realization that it is true, we THE STUDENTS do get way too much homework. It's not just here in the United states, It's all across the world.

Homework takes up a majority of our time after school, and we have a lot of things that we already have to do. We have to deal with school all day, we have to deal with our home lives, we have appointments we have to attend. We have sports and our social lives, but most importantly we have all the resources we need to learn at school. School is the place where we learn, and it has been that way for centuries. 

Even though the video shown to help represent this petition was uploaded in 2016, we still feel like it shows and explains how we feel to this day in regards to homework. It varies from school to school, whether some say it's a lot of homework or whether people say it's the right amount of homework, we still feel like we need to lower the amount of homework we receive. We the students, feel like we have too much homework now a days, and we want to demand change. WE NEED LESS HOMEWORK, WE HAVE ENOUGH SCHOOL!!!
