My newborn was a victim of fraud within hours of his birth. Help me protect newborns and their parents from fraud.

Within hours of my son's birth at the The Women's Center at Northwest Hospital, an employee of SHERIDAN CHILDRENS HEALTHCARE SERVICES, INC. came into our room and started hooking up sensors to my son. She tested his hearing first and then handed me a form asking me to pay for the hearing test. I was confused because the person performing the test looked and acted like a hospital employee. Turns out, she was not affiliated with the hospital and the hearing test was not included in the birthing package. 14 months later I received two bills. One for $495.00 for the hearing test and another $895.00 for attending the birth of my child. Somehow sending an employee into our room hours after my child was born gave this doctor the audacity to charge us for "attendance at delivery". We feel that this is a scam designed to steal $1400.00 from unsuspecting parents at a time when they are most vulnerable due to the emotional, physical, and chemical effects involved with childbirth. If you agree with me please sign my petition requesting the immediate banishment of SHERIDAN CHILDRENS HEALTHCARE SERVICES, INC. and its affiliates from the NW Women's Birthing Center in an effort to protect newborns and their parents from this fraudulent and predatory scam.
