On Friday 4th February the landlady of the White Horse Pub situated on Stitch-Mi-Lane, Harwood was given the news that she would have to leave the premises in 4 weeks time. This termination of her contract was through a no-fault clause which means Punch Pubs have no reason to terminate her contract. This was shocking news for Mandie, her staff and the loyal customers she'd gained in her time as landlady. After taking over the premises 4 months prior to COVID-19, Mandie has put everything into ensuring her her staff, her customers and also the local community have been looked after no matter what. From organising packed lunches for kids alongside Marcus Rashford's campaign going as far as Moston to deliver packed lunches; to delivering home-made soup to the locals and even getting ordained to give a couple the wedding they missed out on through lockdown. There is nothing the she wouldn't do to make sure everyone wasn't looked after. There's a whole list we could sit and rhyme off but I think you can understand that this petition would not be here if it wasn't for how much Mandie cares about the pub and the community around it and how much we want her to be here.  Please sign and leave a comment.
