The West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner is considering closing 24 police buildings to help save £5 million.
David Jamieson said his force's spending power has shrunk by £145 million since 2010, and is now looking at new ways of protecting the number of police officers and staff.
Only two of the 24 police buildings included in the plans are open to the public. The other 22 buildings are solely used as a base for officers and staff.
