After conducting a survey of 80 students in the area this summer, we discovered that students have a lack of sexual consent education, or they feel like they don't know enough about it. The survey also revealed that the students get most of their sex education from school, because they feel uncomfortable asking parents. We are calling on the Washoe County School District and SHARE Committee to consider more comprehensive consent education in the SHARE curriculum. This will benefit students, parents, and employees of the district and overall improve the community.

Después de hacer una encuesta de 80 estudiantes en el área este verano, descubrimos que los estudiantes no tienen suficiente educación sexual sobre el consentimiento o sienten que no saben lo suficiente. La encuesta también reveló que los estudiantes aprenden la mayoría de su educación sexual de la escuela, porque se sienten incómodos al preguntar a los padres.
