Switch Amusement and Theme Parks to Biodegradable Plastics
Amusement parks such as Disneyland/world, Universal Studios, Seaworld and their associates draw huge crowds from around the world on a daily basis. Having recently visited Universal Studios Hollywood again, I was dismayed that almost all of their food products were served in plastic containers and with plastic utensils, as well as not even having recycling or composting available (their garbage cans claim that the trash is separated off-site). Regardless of whether or not the trash is separated, enough waste is produced that if all plastic were exchanged for biodegradable plastic, it would surely make an impact on the environment. These large-scale corporations should take (at least some) environmental responsibility in their effort to entertain the masses, and it's reasonable to assume they have the funding to do so.
