Remove Star Wars Episode 7, 8, and 9 from the Canon and let George Lucas Re-Do it

George Lucas created Star Wars, and compared selling it off to trading his children into slavery. Lucas was unfairly maligned during the early 2000s for his imaginative, fascinating, and frankly philosophically challenging, expansion of the Star Wars universe in the prequels, but the failure of JJ Abrams, Rian Johnson, and Kathleen Kennedy to deliver crowd-pleasing, by-the-numbers, commercial sequels is the true stain on the record, not the prequels.

Upon reflection, we can see that the prequels are faithful extensions of the original trilogy, and compared to the new studio fare- we would be better off with more George Lucas in the mix. We demand that Disney shutter these unsatisfying and contradictory prequels to the multiverse, and pull a spider-man by remaking episodes 7, 8, and 9 with the original writer-director George Lucas to take in the direction that he wishes. Whether that means bringing people like Irvin Kershner and John Favreau in to help on this or that should be up to him, not the studio execs. The direction for the trilogy should be determined by George. Some of us support George Lucas, some of us feel the new movies are so disgracefully bad that we have nothing to lose. We all have our own reasons to sign.

We are lifelong fans of Star Wars, and we are ready to admit we were wrong and we need George Lucas back. Disney's first shot at this trilogy wasn't all bad, but it does truly suck as a whole. This is a chance to make things right by George, and the fans. Will you sign?
