How many Native American Disney shows or movies have you seen? Disney currently only has one Native American movie, Pocahontas. Pocahontas isn’t even a historically correct story. Disney is all about including minorities in their productions or even making the minorities the entire production.

The big question is where are the Native American productions? Native children watch Disney movies and shows about other races, which is great! But just how hispanic children have shows with their race or black or asian or Indian kids, but what about Native American kids? It is very important for any child to learn about who they are and where they come from. Native children deserve to have that right as well. There are many stories that Disney could make into kid friendly shows or movies without them being incorrect. Disney has become very inclusive, but still Native children are invisible.
