Keep Rian Johnson on as Director of Star Wars Episode IX

After having seen Star Wars: The Last Jedi, I am convinced that Rian Johnson has taken the franchise in a great direction. Currently, J. J. Abrams is slated to head the final movie in the sequel trilogy, Star Wars Episode IX, and while his work on Star Wars: The Force Awakens certainly wasn't bad, I fear that Abram's vision for the film doesn't align with what Johnson has set up and that major plot points from Star Wars: The Last Jedi may be twisted or outright ignored to suit Abram's vision for picture. By keeping Rian Johnson on as the director of Star Wars Episode IX, Disney and Lucasfilm would be doing a tremendous service to its loyal fans by ensuring that the next film in its current trilogy will be worthy of their viewing and their patronage, and perhaps even a few award nominations from the various performing arts organizations.
