Since 1977 (with the exception of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story 2016), legendary, Oscar-winning composer John Williams has provided us with incredibly emotional, moving and action packed scores to accompany the eight Star Wars saga films we know and love.
We have seen many musical motifs develop over the past 40 years which makes every Star Wars moment memorable and envoke hundreds of emotions. Without these cues Star Wars would just not be Star Wars.
From the tutti fortissimo ‘B flat’ major chord of the opening theme, to the hopefulness expressed in Binary Sunset, the drama of Duel of the Fates, the tragedy of Battle of the Heroes, the triumphancy of March of the Resistance, and the exquisite orchestration of Rey’s Theme; these legendary themes will go down in history and live on forever.
It is now I propose that Mr. Williams be given a cameo appearance in “Star Wars: Episode IX” (2019) as a thank-you from Disney and Lucasfilm, and most of all from the millions of dedicated fans of Star Wars and John Williams; for all the years of hard work and love he has put into this epic saga.
I urge you to sign this petition so we can see Oscar-winning composer John Williams up on the big screen as a thank-you and homage to what he has done for the Star Wars saga.
Thank you for taking your time to read this, and please share!
