A few years ago , Amber Heard, then wife of Johnny Depp, came out and publicly accused Johnny of physical abuse. This controversy soon lead to a lot of hate being generated towards Johnny and subsequently resulted in him being fired by Disney from his most famous role as Jack Sparrow. In light of recent events, it has been revealed that Johnny Depp was framed by his ex-wife, Amber Heard, as it was in fact herself who was the abuser. During Depp's lawsuit, he he held many accounts of physical abuse against her. One instance consisted of Heard shattering Depp's fingertip with a vodka glass, to the point where he had to get it surgically fixed.

Some same instances of controversy have happened before in relation to Disney. Only a year or so ago, director James Gunn was fired for his disrespectful tweets and yet Disney found it within themselves to re-hire him after he apologised. By that logic, Depp should definitely be re-hired as he committed no crime in the first place, but was in fact a victim of mental and physical abuse.
