The re-branding of splash mountain is one of the most exciting Disney renovations of the century. However, if Disney plans of giving Tiana a ride, a restaurant is a must for the park. The original film was created to capture the culture and experience of New Orleans, but they missed one of the biggest parts of the Louisiana Culture -Food! And what better way to do incorporate food into the parks, than with Tiana’s Palace. The restaurant could feature fine Cajun cuisine like Tiana’s Famous Gumbo, and feature live jazz musicians blaring the sounds of New Orleans our every window, just as the movie intended. Disney has been given a golden opportunity to create a once in a generation masterpiece, that will attract families from all around the world, and it’s time they capitalize.
