I just want them to keep the EU going as a separate universe, or integrate some of the really cool characters and stories into the new one.

I grew read and learned with these characters, loved or hated so many an come to expand my mind and universe with them!! It's a shame to jus kill them!! This is our history!!... and we want it back!!

I'm signing this because, Games like Star Wars: Jedi Academy, which is based on the events after the battle of Endor, rebuilding the Jedi order, or Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1&2 which allows players to experience Star Wars before the Clone Wars. Legendary Sith like Darth Malak, Revan, Darth Bane, who created the rule of two. All of the books in the universe answer a lot of questions people have about stuff not explained in movies, like why were the Sith thought to be Extinct?, give us back what we enjoy

I am signing because I grew up reading these books, its as much a part of my life as anything else. Star Wars needs to bring back this book series, it is possible just have a "Legends" book series and a "Cannon" book series. It will work and all it is is money to Disney.

Because most real Star Wars fans are on the side of Legends, and more and more people are realizing what a hollow action film EPVII is. At the very least make everything before Episode VI canon so you can satisfy half the Expanded Universe fanbase while you make your own post-ROTJ canon.

I hate the new series. My whole childhood has been ruined. Every precious hour was for naught. The expanded universe was incredible and should be continued.
