Respected sir,

We the students of PG Departments, Berhampur University, humbly request you for a change in the mode of conduction of examinations of  PG First semester students, which was unanimously pleaded by a majority of students by considering the current pandemic situation. 

As prescribed by the government of odisha, the classes has been conducted in online mode which, as anyone would agree, is not sufficient for better understanding of concepts and hence we haven't been prepared upto a level which can be tested by conducting examinations in offline mode. So it will be justified if the examinations are also conducted in the similar way as that of classes. 

Also as the COVID-19 infections are widespread everywhere and the all the students including hostel boarders aren't feeling like going to the university premises for appearing examinations, majorly fearful of the elderlies at our home catching the disease through us. 

Further We like to add that our academic period is pretty much delayed due to this pandemic as our classes started in the month of February 2021, which is 5 months delay due to the 1st wave of Covid-19 and Currently pursuing first semester for over 6 months due to the 2nd wave of Covid-19. These are affecting our course completion time period and irregular time schedule for upcoming semesters.

So it is a humble request from our behalf to consider it and let us appear the examinations in online mode at earliest chance Possible.
