Ms. Maslak is being asked to teach a course in the Middle School, but she has been working on these amazing english electives for the Spring and Fall Semester. This petition is to prove that there is an interest in these play-based english courses. There are no other english courses that are centered around solely plays and there are certainly none that teach only Shakespeare. These courses would boost participation in the Performing Arts through the English department. Performing Arts and English go hand in hand yet there are no courses that achieve this marriage. We need these classes in the Upper School!!
