The University of West Alabama has notified students that they will no longer be offering certain 6-week MBA classes this summer, and, instead, those classes will become 8-weeks. While this may not seem like a big change, 4 total weeks will be added to our program. This will affect those planning to graduate summer 2022. 

This change is due in part to academically benefit students, which we can admire, but this change is coming 8-weeks before our summer classes start. This will affect graduation, and could potentially impact future jobs. We request that instead of implementing this change for the current catalogue, the change should be implemented for next year's catalogue. 

We current students registered and agreed with UWA that we would finish our degrees by the end of Summer 2022. Please help those of us who are affected negatively by this change. We do not believe that students should be given an 8-week notice that their courses are going to change. Thank you so much for signing and agreeing with us!
