Double the UTCS undergraduate disk quota on lab machines

Undergraduate computer science students consistently face technical inconveniences after reaching the maximum disk quota (2GB) alloted for their account.  Productivity is hindered when one must perform a chkquota or du -sk ~/* ~/.??* | sort -n almost daily and remove temporary files in his or her cache in order to make the lab machine functional.  Furthermore the 2GB limit for undergraduate CS students puts strain on the number of required package installations one must install in order to work on assignments for many of the upper division CS electives.

Supporters of this petition believe that the current disk quota of 2GB is an unnecessary bottleneck given the cost of tuition and recognition in global rankings.  We are asking that the disk quota be increased at the very least from 2GB to 4GB per each [undergraduate] student account.
