We call upon the University of Southampton to distance itself from the upcoming conference on Israel’s right to exist by removing it from campus, in order to avoid giving the event credibility and official approval to bigotry and Antisemitism.

Reasons for signing

See why other supporters are signing, why this petition is important to them, and share your reason for signing (this will mean a lot to the starter of the petition).

Israel has a right to exist as any other nation in the world. It is a non debeatable issue. It׳ right is as strong as the Uk, USA Australia and other countries. No person , organization, enemies and academic institute, has a right to question it nor to host conferences about it. It is the historic land of Judaism, voted and recognized by the UN, one of the very few sane state in this turbulent area.

Universities have an inherent obligation to not lend credibility to these type of events.

Israel's right to exist is absolute. When the same ppl apply the same arguments to their own country first. Leave mine out of it.

it is offensive to even consider the topic for debate.

This conference is a thinly veiled anti-semetic platform. Where is the criticism of all the vile murder in the world under the banner of "Islam" ? What about a conference dealing with this.
