The University of Salford: Please reconsider closure of the School of Humanities, Languages and Social Sciences

Salford was a pioneer when I studied two languages and marketing there from 1993-1997. My degree was fundamental to my career to date, which has involved working in a variety of counties. It's not just about the languages you speak, but also the state of mind that exposure to languages gives you. I think the closure of the department would be a great loss to UK higher education.
