The centre was highly influential in my life giving me and my children opportunities we would otherwise never had - it was a link. A point of access that was flexibly geared to our life situation and needs that not only enabled life long learning but gifted us with knowledge and skills to share and gift with others throughout our lives. It gave me the. confidence to achieve more than I ever dreamed and enabled me to better help my own children achieve high levels of academic success.

I was a part-time psychology student in the late 90's and taking part on the course made a great difference to my life at the time and made my learning experience enjoyable and affordable.

I sign in solidarity with the students and staff of the University of Leicester, and assert the importance of academic institutions like the Vaughan Centre and Centre for Medical Humanities within universities for the critical role they play in society.

As a former external examiner for the University of Leicester I have long been impressed by it's commitment to education and the local communities. It would be a great disappointment for that commitment to cease.

Studied at Vaughan College 2001 to 2003 and went on to study at Leicester Uni for a degree. Leicester needs lifelong learning, Leicester needs Vaughan!
