Continue installing filtered bottle filling stations at the University of Iowa

The University of Iowa has discussed potential plans to no longer install filtered water filling stations around campus. If any currently installed break down, they will be replaced by non-filtered filling stations instead. These filtered filling stations were implemented to cut back on plastic waste and to provide clean water for students on campus. The current Elkay stations are in buildings all over campus including, but not limited to the CRWC, the Main Library, the Business Building, the Law School, the Old Capitol Town Centre, the IMU, and more. These stations affect every student at the University of Iowa, and filtered water should continue to be provided to our community.
Cutting costs should not impact student health. Tell the University to continue providing and installing and maintaining our filtered bottle filling stations and keep our community healthy!
