Problem
The Historian’s Toolkit course at the University of Edinburgh is a compulsory course for first year history undergraduates and it is the overwhelming opionion of the student body that this course has caused emotional hardship, stress, and is an overall pisstake.

Solution
We need to raise awareness for the pain and suffering inflicted upon all students taking the Historian’s Toolkit course at the University of Edinburgh and force the University of Edinburgh to issue a written apology (in the form of a Reflective Essay) to all students enrolled in the course.

Personal story
When I came to the University of Edinburgh, I had high hopes of acheiving my academic potential studying a subject that I love: History. However, over my duration of taking the Historians Toolkit course, I have found myself stressed over citations, befuddled by bibliographies and worst of all: felt saddened by the deficiency of the amount of history in the course.
Many of my peers feel the same and we wish to demand some form of reparation. Which, as mentioned before, will be in the form of a Reflective Essay.
