My mom to buy me a new sweater
I opened my closet today to pack for my trip to vermont/New York this weekend. In mind I had a specific sweater I wanted to bring because I felt as though it captured the #granola #alt essence of the university of vermont, one of the schools I will be touring. After digging through my closet for a solid hour and having no success, I approached my mother, who often disproves of my thrifted clothes. After some pressure she admitted to throwing it out since “booras kids don’t wear clothes with holes”. Although the sweater did have a couple holes, it had a special character and honestly added to the #grunge effect of the sweater. Furthermore, I even wrote about this sweater in my college essay, as finding a unique style helped me find my place in my school. This sweater was blue and green checkered and looked like something Harry styles would wear. Because I bought it with my own money and it was discarded without my permission, my mom should buy me a new sweater to help soothe my grief.
