Gun control has been up for debate for many years, especially this year with the Aurora shooting in Colorado and now the shooting in Connecticut. My question is, when is someone going to take a stand for the next generation and say "No, I don't want this to go on. This must be stopped." There is no reason for children to die because of a madman with a machine gun. The only way change can happen is if the government sees the petitions, hear the voices, and listen to the people. With enough attention, there won't be any more of these events and the next generation can feel safe.
