Change January 8th to 'Stephen Hawking Day'

On March 14th, 2018, everyone on earth has taken a great loss.
Stephen Hawking was arguably one of the most important scientists in history, and will no doubt be remembered for hundreds or thousands of years. However, he needs to be remembered in a major way. Children need to know his name, for hundreds of years to come. People need to be inspired by him far longer than his life could stretch. I have an idea for this.
A national holiday, annually celebrated on January 8th (Stephen Hawking's birthday), for everyone in the United States to remember, reflect on, and learn about this great mind.
