Why this petition matters

Started by Lauren Ankers

The Tories have shown the public again and again that they cannot be trusted. The pandemic has been mishandled with millions of pounds going to the friends of Tory MPs for PPE that never arrived and/or was unsuitable for the NHS.

The North has been continually let down By Boris's empty promises, accumulating in the already controversial HS2 Northern leg being scrapped.

The Tory Government have stooped all legal routes for asylum into the UK resulting in refugees being unable to gain safe-haven here. The migrant crisis we see in the Channel is a direct result of this.

The Tories have been caught lying and even trying to change the rules of Parliament to protect one of their own. There have been countless U-turns and waffling, half-hearted apologies.

Our Government are riddled with corruption and trust has been lost in Boris and his friends. The people are being let down by our Government.

We the public wish to petition our Parliament to debate a General Election and allow us, the people, to voice our opinions in votes.
