Ali Griffiths started this petition to The UK Government and

Premier League football teams are claiming the salaries of furloughed non playing staff. The taxpayer should not be expected to fund this whilst clubs continue to pay weekly wages, to players and managers, that in some cases exceed the annual salaries of most British workers.

To the UK government - we the tax payer applaud  your efforts to preserve jobs and businesses with your schemes to pay wages and provide loans and grants. We accept that these initiatives will be paid for generations to come, but please only fund those in real need. Premiership football clubs can redistribute their own wealth to ensure all their staff,  playing and non-playing, are paid a fair and living wage.

To clubs, players and managers - do the right thing....we’re supposed to be in this together.... Stop taking money out of the pockets of the British public and pay your staff yourselves.
