In April, it would seem energy bills are due to increase by 50%. This is a huge hike, especially considering most have already seen an increase of the 10-20% in recent months. National Insurance, Council Tax, food prices all increasing too! People CANNOT afford this increase as well. It will leave people forced to choose whether to eat or heat their homes! The already vulnerable (elderly, babies) etc could face huge health challenges if unable to keep warm and those faced with trying to cover household bills will be faced with massive mental health struggles. Some MSM has stated the government plan to help low income families with the additional costs. What is classed as low income? This will affect everyone!! Stop the class divide. Everyone has the right to heat their home without fear of getting severely into debt or having to sacrifice other necessities!
