The reasons are obvious and clear, shouldn't be a need to explain to intelligent politicians

As a dedicated angler, I want to see our rivers clean and ready for the next generation to enjoy
It sickens me to think polluted discharge has been going on for such a long period and our government has turned a blind eye to the situation.
How can I stand by with your the information that our rivers are the dirtiest in Europe.

Pumping raw sewage into our waterways is regressive. Shame on the Tory government - they KNEW Brexit meant diminishing access to the chemicles required for sewage plants, they KNEW the infrastructure requires investment. SHAME on them for failing to CONSERVE our rural and maritime assets.

This would never have been aloud if we were still in the EU as this country would still have had to abide by certain rules too .
The tories do not care at all.

I live in Shoreham by Sewer. It stinks here. We have many everyday swimmers so it's very important that our sea and river are pollution free.
