A baby is born every 15 minutes with a heart defect. That's 1 in every 100. Many of these children are making it to adulthood due to scientific advances in medicine. Sadly, many of them will not have the healthcare they need as adults and the government is ignoring them. I am one of these patients and I am speaking for all of us in a similar situations.
