At the start of all the hate,I'll admit I was scared of speaking up because yes,although I love anime and asian food I really did not know how to speak up for the asian community.So I was silent.But fortunately thanks to my tiktok for you page lately,it has given me courage and knowledge on how to react and speak up for the asian community.Seeing all the hate crime victims on my for you page truly broke my heart and I felt terribly shameful for not speaking up.Ive shared multiple petitions with my classmates but none of them ever felt the need to empathize or react passionately towards them .Although I still feel helpless and feel like I haven't done much,I really,really hope that this petition will reach the decent.I refuse to have a bowl of ramen or even watch another episode of AOT or Jujutsu kaisen if this petition isnt nearly successful or signed by at least 12 individuals. PLEASE SIGN IT,I REALLY WANT TO WATCH AOT AND JUJUTSU KAISEN T^T . I also remember witnessing a guy in my class make a racist remark against Chinese.We were doing an exercise on foreign cuisines in my french class and he said he wouldn't eat chinese cuisine .I asked why and he said "I refuse to eat dogs" I explained to him as calmly as I could possibly be (although I was tempted to snap his neck) how racist he is and I explained to him the story behind the consumption of dogs and how they were one of the fewest sources of survival during a war which left many chinese (or supposedly east asians,if I'm not mistaken)homeless,helpless and in despair.
