Because he was my son Ryan’s Best Friend and it changed our family profoundly just as it changed the Haskett family. Safety is a big concern at Wasaga Beach and now with the changes it is necessary to prevent more heartache. Please sign and prevent this.

I have lived in Wasaga Beach all my life and have heard about so many drownings! I was a swimming instructor at the YMCA and a lot of the people coming through weren't strong swimmers. I also worked with the OPP for a summer as a marine student and that is where I assisted with a drowned victim where the family thought someone was watching them and didn't see the child walk to the water! We have the longest fresh water Beach in the world! It is silly to not have lifeguards!!

To many people... to many children lost their lives!!!!
