Oppose the proposed Entertainment Complex on Bill Delahunt Parkway

We, the undersigned, oppose the proposed Entertainment Complex on Bill Delahunt Parkway. This project would be developed on 40 acres, which is more than twice the size as the Gillette Stadium site. It would also include a 103,000 sq. ft. building that is nearly as large as two football fields. This facility would have a full-service bar and liquor license, and would be open from 5:30 am to midnight, 7 days a week. In addition, the complex calls for a 1,500 foot long access driveway, portions of which are currently located within 33’ of the abutting residential district, creating disturbance from headlights, and noise from vehicles and patrons. Therefore, we request that our local officials have independent traffic, environmental and economic impact studies conducted at the applicant’s expense to ensure that this project will be a benefit to the community and not harm the environment or our quality of life.
